The 2009 Reunion In York, UK

At the opening reception, the organizers arranged to have BP archives displayed in recognition of the 100th anniversary of BP. Two representatives of BP brought their historical photos, ads and documents and commented on the history of the oil concessions in Iran. The 1909 minutes of the meeting that established BP in Iran as well as the original signed document in English, French and Farsi granting the concession were on display and are displayed in the following two pictures. This documentation and the acts following were the basis for our presence in Iran and for the Abadan Society as it exists today. Without that history it wouldn't have been possible.
